Hey all. I wanna know what your favorite internet radio station is. However, do not pick a radio station you are affiliated with, that is, a station which you have a show on, a management or financial stake in, or a station of which you are on staff period.

The station that fits these qualifications for me is TBRN, the station that tought me a lot of what I know about internet radio. I no longer work there, but if you want a station I've never ever worked with, why not give Phoenix Radio a look.

I like a lot of the streams on sky.fm. If you go premium, they give you streams at 192k, which sound absolutely supurb.

Now, my favorite is probably Radio Paradise. It's a nice mix of rock, electronica, jazz, world, etc. Another favorite is Soma FM.

One of my current favorites is a Live365 station called Mr. Aircheck, and of course, he plays old recordings of what radio stations sounded like some 30 years ago or more. There's another one called the Oldies Project, which plays a lot of oldies that never hit the American charts but did hit the charts in England or perhaps elsewhere. You'll need to Google for that one since I don't know the website offhand. There's always www.kfjc.org and www.wfmu.org if you like eclectic radio. WFMU also has a cool blog and lots of streamable archives, as does www.wrek.org out of Atlanta

I love listening to all different stations. I like listening to big up radio, for their Reggae. But I've got to say the most unique and fun programming is on TBRN. I like tbrn a lot.
Check them out.
